Wind Speed Requirements: Patterson lies within the 120 to 130 M.P.H. wind zone, with the lowest delineation of any address in Patterson being 122 M.P.H. All construction materials and installation techniques must comply with R301.2.1.2 of the 2015 International Residential Code relative to wind-born debris protection construction methods. All glazing (windows), roof construction, foundations, framing, and materials have special requirements for this designated 130 m.p.h. wind zone.
