Policies and Procedures
Time sheets are the most important step in the temporary process. Your time sheets are due Mondays by 10:00 any time sheet that arrives after 12:00 noon will be processed on the next weeks payroll. We WILL NOT collect your time sheet for you. This is your responsibility. It is your (the temporary’s) responsibility to collect and deliver via fax or in person to Five Star Staffing. The time sheet is considered invalid without the approval signature of the supervisor you reported too. Time sheets without the approval signature will not be processed at all, until signed by an authorized party of community you completed the work at. No over-time will be paid without the Proper Manager signature authorizing overtime. All temps are responsible for calling immediately if work cannot be preformed that day.*

Five Star Staffing will not be held responsible for any Worker, Employee, or Contractors illegal or unlawful behavior, including, but not limited to theft, assault, drug use, or damage to property while on assignment through Five Star Staffing. The Worker, Employee, or Contractor will be responsible for the replacement of lost items such as, but not limited to: monies, checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, tools, etc. in the event they are lost, misplaced, or stolen while in the possession of any Worker, Employee, or Contractor of Five Star Staffing. Such items will be replaced at your cost. The amount owed will be deducted from any money owed to the Worker, Employee, or Contractor of Five Star Staffing.*

Drugs and alcohol in the work place will not be tolerated. Any temporary personnel under the influence will be immediately terminated. *

Any injury in the workplace is to be reported immediately, within 24 hours. Five Star Staffing directors will instruct you of how to properly seek care upon reporting the injury immediately, within 24 hours. If you fail to report the injury immediately, within 24 hours, your claim is invalid. Five Star Staffing directors will instruct you of the facility to immediately have testing for drugs and alcohol prior to receiving care for such injury. Failing to report to the facility Five Star Staffing instructs you to go to, will result in an invalid claim.*

The temporary worker is an employee of Five Star Staffing. The said employee shall be compensated for the performance of service rendered on the work date. Five Star Staffing does not guarantee the placement at an apartment management or maintenance position on the said property that the contract labor was preformed. The work schedule is based solely upon the needs of the client/community that the said employee is performing the services for. *

When accepting an assignment with Five Star Staffing, you must complete the assignment until it has ended. You may call and request to be released from the assignment, and when possible may be excused or reassigned; but if you do not call / or not show up for or walk off an assignment (regardless of reason why) all wages that are due to you from Five Star Staffing will be dropped to minimum wage and you will be classified as a "Do Not Use" person. *
