  • BRUMBIES RUGBY GAME DAY EVENT WAIVER

    In reference to this waiver, the term ‘Event’ is defined as the Brumbies Muster - The March to GIO Stadium

    I understand that I have been invited to participate in a game day Event prior to a Brumbies Rugby match at Canberra Stadium and in consideration for being allowed to participate in the Event I have agreed to the terms of this waiver.

    I acknowledge the Event is a physical event and that while all care is taken by the Brumbies, the Event involves risks that may result in all manner of harm, loss, damage, injury or death.

    I warrant that I am:

    • Aware of the inherent and extrinsic risks in participating in the Event;
    • Physically capable of participating in the Event;
    • Over 18 years of age; or if under the age of 18 will be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the event.
    • Not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the Event.

    I agree to assume all responsibility for any harm, loss, damage, injury or even death resulting from, or arising out of, my participation in the Event.

    I agree to waive, release and discharge in perpetuity Brumbies Rugby from any harm, loss, damage, injury or death resulting from, or arising out of, my participation in the Event including any harm, loss, damage, injury or death caused by the negligence or other action or inaction by Brumbies Rugby.

    I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Brumbies Rugby from and against any claim, cause of action, liability or judgment resulting from, or arising out of, or in connection with my participation in the Event.

    I agree to allow Brumbies Rugby to contact me using the details above regarding this event.

    In this waiver, “Brumbies Rugby” means Australian Capital Territory and Southern New South Wales Rugby Union Limited and its directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors.
