March 2020 we began a policy where any submission we approved would get at least a 2 page spread! NO SINGLE PAGES. NO HALF PAGES. NO QUARTER PAGES.

In our talks with models and photographers we confirmed how disheartening it is when you put in a lot of time, effort and expense into a photoshoot, submit it to a magazine and then see half a dozen of your photos squeezed onto a single page. When we began guaranteeing 2 page spreads it made our submissions increase by a good measure. So much so that in order to publish all the work we'd like to, we had to put out more issues. By the end of 2020 we had released over 250 publications. Over 15,000 pages of content. Nobody publishes more pinup than Retro Lovely. We have already published more pinup art than anyone else. And we are not done! We have a lot of exciting things planned with this as the foundation.

Since we relaunched in 2018 we've become the fastest growing pinup magazine on Instagram. We have gone from 2500 followers back then to over 158,000 today.
