Spend time immersed in an explosion of color at the world famous Swan Island Dahlia Farm with side trips to the Portland Rose Garden, as well as other nearby gardens. August 18 - 20 will consist of three full days in the gardens. August 21st will be a travel day on your own with an optional stop along the Oregon Coast. Once in Bandon, we will begin early on August 22nd to shoot the legendary sea stacks and mini-scenes in the sand and water, lighthouse, another garden, the famous Shore Acres wall, and more. Our workshop will run through August 25th. Jackie Kramer will lead this workshop, with Padma Inguva as co-leader in the Swan Island segment, and will offer plenty of personal interaction. We will focus on shooting and will follow up after the workshop during the first week of September with online class in post-processing and another session at a later date TBD for image reviews. Participants are responsible for all airfare, transportation during the workshop, all meals, and entry fees associated with the shooting locations.
