Some of the reasons why your child may not be able to eat certain foods are as follows:

• they may be allergic or intolerant to certain foods
• they may have a disorder which limits the types of food they can eat
• they may not be able to eat certain foods due to religious reasons
• they may be vegetarian or vegan and should avoid foods containing animal products

Occasionally, your child may have accidents in school causing them to cut or graze themselves. When this happens we will clean the wound and may need to consider using a plaster if the cut or graze continues to bleed. However, we are aware that some children may have an allergy to plasters.

Please complete this section to indicate whether or not you wish a member of Castle Club staff to administer plasters to your child should the need arise.

We always recommend that children wear sensible shoes at Castle Club, particularly for when playing outside . However, it is compulsory that children are wearing sensible shoes when using the school’s playground apparatus. We consider sensible footwear to be flat, good-fitting shoes with soft rubber soles. We do not consider slip-on ballet-type shoes to be suitable footwear.

Children are always supervised when using playground apparatus and if a member of staff feels that a child is wearing inappropriate footwear they will be asked to not play on our playground apparatus that day.
