• Sweet & Able is a mentoring initiative for young women ages 12-21 who are going through the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood while building their confidence through mentorship and dance. Through oral history, training, activities, performance opportunities, and mentorship, these young women will gain a sense of sisterhood, leadership skills, and become change agents. This program is designed to preserve the legacy of Mable Lee Dancing Ladies while nurturing the next generation of young women who are interested in pursuing a career or staying connected to the arts.
