Thank you for your interest in adopting. The first step is to do our adoption application. It's important to know we get multiple applicants for our fosters. In our efforts to rescue we strive to match our fosters with their forever homes. We are a small rescue with limited volunteers. It's important to know we do not have resources to reply back to every applicant. If you are a canditate for adopting then one of our volunteers will get back to you with follow questions OR to schedule a meet and greet. You may not hear back from us due to the multiple appliocations.
To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Crossing
Rescue, Inc. that includes an application, adoption fee and adoption contract. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary.
Animals are for life. When you adopt an animal, it is a commitment you make to the animal, for the lifetime of that animal. By adopting a cat from Kitten Crossing Rescue,Inc., you’re making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years. Adopting a cat is a serious commitment, but one that is incredibly rewarding.
If you are unable to make such a long-term commitment, we would be happy to refer you to other rescues that may have more suitable companions.
The adoption fee for a single kitten/cat is $150 and $250 for a pair. We highly recommend adopting a pair of kittens/cats if you don't already have a playful cat at home.
Most of our adoptable cats can be found on the Adopt A Pet website.
