As organisers we reserve the right to accept or reject any application.
Please note that by submitting an application for a stall site, the applicant accepts the terms and conditions listed on this information sheet and on the application form.
Limited Stall Sites are available and will be finalised prior to the event.
Site fees must be paid prior to the event.
All stallholders MUST comply with the City of Ipswich Health Regulations and any other relevant regulations such as Workplace Health and Safety.
All stallholders MUST have public liability insurance and provide evidence of currency. Please attach a copy of these to your application. Copies of current Food Licencing are also required.
The policy of the organizing committee is to ensure a wide variety of stalls and goods as possible are available to Market visitors.
No vehicles are to remain onsite whilst the event is in progress.
All electrical leads must be tagged and tested at the expense of the stallholder.
No pegs allowed in parkland.
Please use sandbags to secure your stall.
Applications must include the name, address and telephone number of the person who will be deemed responsible to the operation of the proposed facility during the markets for which a stallholder"s approval is sought.
Stallholders must comply with any other arrangements that the co-ordinator may enter into. Official suppliers to the market will be confirmed when site applications are accepted and confirmed.
Stallholders are responsible for bulk rubbish removal (e.g. cartons, cans, plastic wrappers) from their allocated sites and must take off site.
Stallholders are liable for restoration claims made by the Amex Corporation and Ipswich City Council (ICC)for any damage that may be caused to the site.
Stalls must be set up and ready to operate at least 15 minutes prior to the advertised commencement time of the market and will not be dismantled prior to the advertised finishing time of the market without prior arrangement from the co-ordinators. Trading times may vary or change at the discretion of the co-ordinators.
Stallholders may not erect or use any advertising materials such as large banners, signs or tents, which in the opinion of the co-ordinator or is in the opinion of the co-ordinators is deemed offensive.
Stallholders shall not engage in any activity which, in the opinion of the co-ordinator, will or is likely to cause any nuisance to adjacent stallholders or the general public.
Stallholders shall not engage in any activity which, in the opinion of the co-ordinator, is deemed to be illegal or immoral.
The market co-ordinators may withdraw or cancel a stallholder"s permit in the event of the stallholder"s failure to comply with these conditions and site fees will not be refunded in the event of a site permit being withdrawn for any breach of these conditions.
As all advertising and promotion costs must be paid for by the co-ordinators regardless of the weather, no site fee refunds will be paid in the case of inclement weather, non attendance or due to personal issues.
