  • Krystal Klear Pools of Michigan is a full-service swimming pool company with a growing business! We are looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to join our team as a Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician to service various cities within Oakland County! Training is provided.

    • We need a team player with a great work ethic and a positive attitudešŸ˜Š
    • Outdoor tolerance in all weather conditions (rain, heat, wind & occasional snow).
    • Valid Driverā€™s License with a clean driving record.
    • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Problem solve.Ā 
    • Overtime & Saturdays during peak times! Holidays off!
    • Duties include: Pool chemistry, maintenance, and water testing.
    • Skim, brush, vacuum, and maintain pool equipment for residential swimming pools.
    • Record and log each customer visit utilizing mobile software.

  • Our peak times are pool openings (April/May) and pool closings (Sept./Oct.). We have overtime available during our peak months.Ā

  • Pool Openings

    Remove Winter Pool Covers

    Remove all winter debris

    Prep pool walls/tile/surface for season use

    Program/set pool operating system for the season

    Store and prep winter covers

    Vacuum and skim the pool

    Ā 

    Pool Maintenance (Daily Route Duties)
    Empty skimmer & trap baskets

    Brush walls and clean pool tiles

    Vacuum & skim the pool

    Clean the skimmer throats

    Backwash filter and monitor salt pool equipment

    Blow the deck area

    Test & balance water chemistry (with chemicals, if needed)

    Complete an online log after each visit for the homeowner

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Skills/Requirements Needed
    1. Must be 18 years of age.

    2. Strong work ethic and customer service.

    3. Ability to work well with others.

    4. Must have a driverā€™s license and a clean driving record.

    5. Ability to work well under limited supervision.

    6. Knowledge and ability to use basic tools and equipment.

    Physical Requirements
    1. Ability to bend at the waist and work on knees.

    2. Ability to reach overhead.

    3. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

    4. Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather.

    5. Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds if needed.
