    Funding Information

    Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students may be eligible for fee-free training where approved and available. Eligibility will be confirmed during the enrolment process.

    Fee-free training is funded by the NSW Government through the:

    • Training Needs Identification (TNI) program which supports priority sectors and
    • NSW Smart and Skilled training fund.

    Important Information Before you Start

    To enrol in a nationally recognised course, please have the following documents ready:

    1) Unique Student Identifier (USI) - Detailed information is provided below.
    2) Identification Documents (IDs) - Note: ID requirements may vary depending on the course you choose. Detailed information will be provided after you select your course.

    If you are applying for government-funded or fee-free training, you may be required to provide additional documentation. 

    Time to Complete the Application

    This form usually takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. If you cannot finish in one session, you can click the Save button below to save your progress. You will need to provide your email address, and a link will be emailed to you so you can continue later.

    About the Unique Student Identifier (USI)

    It is mandatory for all students enrolling in nationally recognised training to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Without a USI, Living Planit cannot issue your qualification or Statement of Attainment upon course completion.Your USI is also required for data reporting to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER).

    • Course Duration: 1 unit completion per month, total 27 months.

    Performance warnings will be triggered if students fail to fulfill their obligations which include not completing the units within required timeframe, academic misconduct such as plagiarism and collusion.

    NOTE: Students with 3 performance warnings will be terminated from the course. Students can submit a complaint and appeal to Living Planit CEO. If the appeal is successful, student can continue the course with conditions (no absence for session or no late submission for assessment. If it happens again, termination will apply, and no appeal will be given.)

    Qualification Description:

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide range of industries and workplace settings.

    People in these roles take on project leadership and management responsibilities, guiding teams to achieve project goals and outcomes. They combine a solid theoretical understanding with practical expertise, using specialised, technical, and managerial skills to plan, deliver, and review both their own work and the work of others.

    • Course Requirements:
      • You are required to attend all scheduled sessions and complete all assessments
      • If you are unable to attend a session, you must advise both your trainer and Living Planit via email at operations@livingplanit.com.au prior to the scheduled session, whenever possible
      • All sessions will be recorded and made available for you to access on Moodle as soon as practicable after the session
      • Living Planit will keep you updated with any changes of the schedule

    Performance warnings will be triggered if students fail to fulfill their obligations, which include not attending the online webinars, not completing the units within required timeframe or academic misconduct such as plagiarism and collusion.

    NOTE: Students with 3 performance warnings will be terminated from the course. Students may submit a complaint and appeal to the Living Planit CEO. If the appeal is successful, the student can continue the course subject to specific conditions—namely, no further absences from scheduled sessions and no late submission of assessments. If additional absences or late submissions occur, termination will apply and no further appeal will be considered.

    All 19 sessions are compulsory to attend. For sessions you have missed, you can catch up in the next available class or via self-paced study and watching recordings. Living Planit will keep you updated with any changes of the schedule.

  • White Card ID Requirements

    StudentS enrolling in a white card course (CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) at Living Planit are required to upload a minimum of 100 points ID Dcouments:

    1. Primary ID (only use one primary document)

    • Australian Passport - 70 points
    • Australian Birth Certificate/Card - 70 points
    • Australian Citizenship Certificate - 70 points

    2. Secondary IDs

    • Driver Licence OR Proof of Age Card OR Photo Card - 40 points
    • Green Medicare Card - 25 points
    • Utility Bills (last 3 months) - 25 points

    School Student:

    School students are also required to upload one of the following documents:

    • A written statement on a school letterhead confirming the student’s name and date of birth.
    • A student ID card that contains the school crest/seal, photo, student’s name and date of birth.

    NOTE: you are also required to show the Living Planit Delegate the ORIGINAL documents you uploaded on the training day.

    Students enrolling in a nationally recognised training at Living Planit are required to upload the following 2 ID Documents:

    To attend CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construcction or CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), Living Planit requires a valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card white card) and/or a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry.

    Some of your assessments will require you to access operational construction zones, and/or carry out construction work. You must have a valid White Card before you can complete these assessments.

  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment

    We conduct an assessment to understand your current language, literacy, and numeracy skills to ensure the training you undertake is suitable, matches your skill level and to identify any additional support you need.

    The assessment contains 10 questions and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your results are confidential and help us support your success. Everyone proceeds to enrolment and additional support may be provided where appropriate.

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows you to gain credit for competency based on your existing skills, knowledge
    and experience. This may come from prior training, work experience, volunteering, life skills or other contexts.
    All learners are entitled to apply for RPL. The RPL process is:


    1. Contact our Support Team to receive an RPL Application Form and preliminary guidance.
    2. Meet with an assessor to review your evidence and understand the RPL process.
    3. Receive an RPL Assessment Kit to help you gather and present evidence.
    4. Your assessor will evaluate submitted evidence, possibly including interviews, observations or third-party
    reports.

    If you are assessed as competent, you will receive Statements of Attainment (or full Certificate, if all units are
    achieved).

     

     Credit Transfer 

    We recognise prior formal training completed with other RTOs or providers. You may apply for Credit Transfer for
    whole units of competency for which you hold valid Certificates or Statements of Attainment. 
    Our Credit Transfer process is:


    1. Submit a Credit Transfer Application with certified copies of prior credentials.
    2. Provide originals or certified copies for verification.
    3. We process applications within 5 working days (or the period defined by the course).
    4. You are encouraged to apply before course commencement to reduce unnecessary training and fees.


    Credit Transfer is only granted for whole units meeting the packaging rules. Partial credits are not accepted — for
    those you may apply for RPL.
    You cannot enrol solely for Credit Transfer — you must undertake a training program or have a mix of training and
    credit.

    Under the Data Provision Requirements 2020, Living Planit is required to collect personal information about learners and disclose this information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER).

    This personal information may include your name, Unique Student Identifier (USI), date of birth, contact details, training outcomes and performance, sensitive information (such as health or ethnicity details), and other enrolment or training-related information (“Personal Information”).

    Living Planit may use or disclose your Personal Information for the following purposes:

    • To meet our reporting obligations to government authorities and regulators.
    • For research, statistical, and quality assurance purposes.
    • To issue Statements of Attainment and Qualifications.
    • To support the administration, regulation, monitoring, and evaluation of the VET sector

    Your personal information may be disclosed to: 

    • Schools (if you are a secondary student undertaking VET training).
    • Employers (if your training is sponsored by your employer).
    • Commonwealth, State, and Territory government departments and authorised agencies, including the NSW Department of Education.
    • NCVER and organisations conducting approved surveys or research.

    NCVER may use and disclose your personal information to: 

    • Issue and verify VET qualifications and populate authenticated VET transcripts.
    • Conduct surveys and research to understand VET sector performance.
    • Support policy development, workforce planning, and consumer information.

    You may receive an NCVER student survey by email, phone, or post. Participation is voluntary, and you may opt out at any time.

    NCVER and government agencies will handle your Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the VET Data Policy, and all NCVER privacy protocols (available at www.ncver.edu.au).

    Student Declaration and Consent

    By signing below, I acknowledge and agree that:

    1. I have read and understood the Living Planit Participant Handbook and agree to follow all current student policies and procedures.
    2. I meet all entry requirements for my course and have access to the required equipment as outlined on the Living Planit website or course brochure.
    3. All information I have provided during enrolment is true, accurate, and complete. I have disclosed any information that may affect my ability to complete my training (for example, disability or special needs).
