  • Position Selection

    Please choose the role you would like to apply for. Due to high demand, we may not be able to grant each volunteer their first position choice, so please take the time to read through each role description. If you have questions or want elaboration on any of the available positions, email us at speakingenglish2019@gmail.com.
    • Teachers - Volunteer Committee - Use created lessons to teach at least one student per week. 
    • Lesson Creators - Volunteer Committee - Create lessons, quizzes, and homework for English 1 on 1 curriculum.
    • YouTube Content Creator - Media/Outreach Committee - Manage the English 1 on 1 YouTube channel. Create educational videos for lessons.
    • Facebook Content Creator - Media/Outreach Committee - Manage the English 1 on 1 Facebook account.
    • Event Planners - Event Committee - Plan events and fundraisers for English 1 on 1.
    • Website Content Creator - Media/Outreach Committee - Manage English 1 on 1's website through Wix. Create weekly blog posts related to English 1 on 1's mission and outreach. 
    • Podcast Outreach Coordinator - Media/Outreach Committee - Research people that can be interviewed on English 1 on 1's Spotify Podcast. Brainstorm topics and questions that can be discussed on the podcast.
