Withdrawal of Nomination
Athletes, coaches and judges who have submitted a nomination form who then decide that they no longer wish to be considered for selection to the 2021 WAGC Team have until 5:00pm Monday 9 August 2021 to submit a withdrawal form.
An athlete who nominates for selection consideration, meets the eligibility criteria scores then decides to withdraw their nomination after the withdrawal deadline of 9 August (for reasons other than injury/illness [Doctor’s certificate required]) will be invoiced by GA for an amount equivalent to cost to submit the definitive entry, and 50% of the accommodation costs that they would have incurred to attend the Event (equivalent to the accommodation deposit amount that GA has to pay when definitive entries are submitted). The only instance when this will not apply is if the definitive entry position on the Team is able to be filled by an athlete of the same gender, age category and discipline that the athlete had nominated for.
A coach or judge who nominates for selection consideration then decides to withdraw their nomination after the deadline of 9 August (for reasons other than injury/illness [Doctor’s certificate required]) and is not able to be replaced on the Team, will be invoiced by GA for 50% of the accommodation costs that they would have incurred to attend the Event (equivalent to the accommodation deposit amount that GA has to pay when definitive entries are submitted).
