The members of Chaverot BBG #2307 are offering home deliveries of Passover packages for just $13 each.
Passover is an eight-day holiday when we commemorate the Jewish People’s redemption from slavery in Egypt thanks to G-d’s miracles. Traditionally, our observance of this festival begins with a Seder, a special ceremonial meal on the first and second nights. The Haggadah, which means “telling” in Hebrew, is a written guide to the Passover seder. The Exodus story is told, questions are asked, and ritual and symbolic food items like matzah and maror are used to recall the difficulty of slavery. Over the centuries, the Seder has evolved to engage friends, family, and guests in meaningful conversation and learning. The story of Passover is one of sacrifice, bravery and standing up for what’s right—a common theme in our history.
Chapter Chaverot is so excited to create these Passover Packages to help you run your own Seder! Order your Passover package from Chapter Chaverot by March 23. Each package will include an assortment of Kosher-for-Passover matzah, chocolate logs, mini grape juice and Bissli, along with a homemade haggadah and a printed seder plate. Pre-ordered packages will be available for pickup on Thursday, March 25 from 5:00-6:30pm outside the Dufferin Clark Community Centre, 1441 Clark Ave West, Thornhill.
All proceeds will support Chaverot BBG #2307, our local chapter of BBYO, the world's leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement, with over 700 teen-led chapters across 50 countries. Your support will enable us to plan more enriching and engaging activities focused on community service, philanthropy, civic engagement, Israel education, and Jewish heritage, among other topics.
