Age Requirements: Age - 18-28
Birth year: 1995 - 2005 for 2023 state/national competition

Residency Requirements: Must fulfill ONE of the following:
Reside in the state of competition, OR
Enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university, OR
Employed on a full-time basis in the state of Texas.

Citizenship:
Must be a United States citizen.

Cost: $500 (If this is a fair pageant/community organization this fee includes a Miss and Teen representative.

Additional costs:

Miss America fee - All Miss America local contestants pay a $325 fee directly to Miss America. This is due by May 1st.

Production fee - There is a $250 production fee per contestant (this includes some wardrobe items, food, hotel fees for Miss contestants.
