    LITTER CLEAN-UP FORM

  • The Clinton County Solid Waste Management District invites you to Keep Clinton County Beautiful! Litter is unsightly and makes it challenging to show off the true beauty of our community. We have been tirelessly promoting responsible waste management and recycling across the County, and the Clinton County Juvenile Probation Department is once again rolling up their sleeves to do their part in tackling the problem by providing roadside clean-ups.

Even with these government-led efforts, litter is still a persistent eyesore in many areas. Regardless of how you feel about the litterers, the litter they leave behind becomes an unavoidable community problem. Clinton County has long been home to independent, hardworking, and community-minded residents and businesses—so let’s tackle this problem together!

    How to get involved:

Whether you have an area in mind that you want to clean-up or would like a suggestion (e.g., specific parks, roadways, alleys, playgrounds, vacant lots), the Clinton County Solid Waste Management District has you covered.

Volunteers are asked to pre-register below so that we can help plan your event, and help you make your event a success.

ALL pre-registered volunteers will be provided with FREE littler clean-up kits that help protect your health and ensure safety. Kits include such items as special bags, gloves, masks, and safety vests.

Group clean-up volumes will be tracked and tallied. At the end of the summer, we will share the total amount of litter collected and how much you contributed to that total. Even small efforts add up to big results!

  • Planned clean-ups are often along roadways or focus on public parks or waterways.

Please share the details of your ROADSIDE OR PARK/WATERWAY clean-up below. Staff will then contact you and ensure that you and/or your group are well equipped with litter collection kits (bags, gloves, masks, safety vests, and pick-up tools).
