Annually, the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber Foundation awards a $1000 vocational scholarships to two high school seniors attending BOCES.
The vocational scholarships are awarded to high school seniors in attendance at either Croton-Harmon, Peekskill, Hendrick Hudson, Lakeland, Walter Panas, Yorktown, or Putnam Valley High Schools.
These scholarships are in part funded from the proceeds of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber Foundation Golf Outing.
The scholarships can be used toward tuition, books, materials, and fees associated with the recipient’s chosen area of study and could include, but is not limited to, college credit certificate programs, or degree granting programs or non-degree seeking programs. Checks are sent directly to the recipient's school / program's account.
Recipients are selected based on:
Academic record
Leadership
Extracurricular activities in school & or community
Honors/Awards/Recognition received
Work experience
Applications must be submitted by 3pm on April 20, 2024.
Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability, or ethnic origin.
