Student Registration

The Pure Foundation Back to Basics programme has been designed for all those who want to establish the mindset and a clear pathway to becoming a successful working artist.  It is ideal for early career artists, those returning to art after a break, or rediscovering art in retirement. It is also perfect for those who have been practicing for some time and need a moment to reflect, re-evaluate and reset. 

The Pure Foundation programme has been created by Pure Founder Lesley Samms from real lived experience, based on 1000's of hours of 1 to 1 professional development mentoring and coaching of artists.

The programme consists of 5 modules delivered via 5 workbooks and PDF activity and reflection sheets. It also includes 4 hours of 1 to 1 support, together with monthly Pure Potential Q&A sessions delivered via zoom.

All students also have lifetime access to a private Facebook group for peer support.

Programme Learning Outcomes

You will develop...

• To understand your core self, your motivation, ideas, processes and practice and consciously manage these for your own benefit

• Self-reflection and analysis skills
• Business management skills
• An ability to make conscious, informed decisions about your professional practice

Programme completion is assessed by on-going engagement and completion and review of the activity and reflection sheets.

You can take as long as you personally require to complete the programme. There are no deadlines, however, the minimum time we suggest it will take you to complete is 6 months at approximately 30 hours per month.

Pure operate 3 semesters per year - May; September and January. You can register at anytime and your programme will begin in the semester immediately following.

the Pure Notebook, Wallet and Pen

The Pure Foundation programme is currently being assessed for Accreditation by the CPD Standards Office. 

The cost of the programme is £950/£850 for Pure Members. 

Payment can be made in instalments on request. 

Programme fees are non-refundable, subject to compliance with consumer law regulations.
