2021 First Communion Mass Sign-Ups

First Communion is a sacred and holy event in the lives of our children, as well as a time of preparation and anticipation, for both our children and ourselves.
Our First Communion Masses are set to take place on Saturday, May 8th at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Please be aware that this year, because of the pandemic and the requirement for social distancing, there will only be the half pew (seats 4-5 people) available for each First Communicant and family. Children will sit with their families so please have them sit at the end of the pew.

If you have more family members who wish to attend, they will need to sit in a pew behind the reserved pews for the first communicants. You will be able to indicate the number of family members attending when you sign-up for the Mass.

There is no required dress code for the Mass. Dress should be appropriate church clothing to show the proper respect for this sacramental occasion. Therefore, there should be no athletic clothing or tennis shoes or flip flops. While very traditional and appropriate, white dresses for girls and suits for boys, are not required.

There will be a practice for the day on Wednesday, May 5 at 6:30 PM in the Cathedral.

If you have not been back to Mass in person, please read the protocols for coming to Mass. Be sure to wear a mask. All Masses are live streamed for any family who wish to participate but cannot be with you in person.
