The San Diego Museum of Art is happy to announce that a limited number of scholarships will be available this year for the following virtual summer programs:
Summer Camps (Grades 1 – 5)
Teen Summer Studios (Grades 6 – 12)
The Museum is pleased to offer full scholarships to cover program fees to families that would not otherwise be able to participate in our program.
Funding and Eligibility Guidelines: The San Diego Museum of Art follows gross income eligibility guidelines established for the Federal Free & Reduced Lunch program. To check your eligibility, please refer to the 2020 – 2021 chart located at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-03-20/pdf/2020-05982.pdf
In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete a Scholarship Application Form and the Program Selection Form. If all forms are not completed, the recipient will not be considered. We will accept applications throughout the summer, but we encourage you to send it in as soon as possible as programs fill up quickly.
Families will be notified whether or not they have received a scholarship approximately two weeks after we receive your application, registration form, and the program selection form. The applicant’s family is expected to provide transportation to and from the Museum for the student each day of the program.
For further information, please contact Registration at 619.696.1935.
Thank you for your interest in our scholarship program.
