The purpose of this award is to recognize and support emerging, graduate architects who have made outstanding, innovative contributions to the discipline and/or profession and have rendered exemplary service in the public realm. Candidates can be nominated by peers, mentors, allied professionals, or employers.
Candidates must have attained an architectural degree from an accredited architectural school
Candidates efforts must have contributed to the public realm or the profession at large, not just internal to the office where they work
Candidates must be working toward licensure in Connecticut
Candidates must be employed by a Connecticut State-based AIA CT firm or by an allied professional firm or institution
A supporting statement written by the nominator: (250 words or less) including a description of the contributions to the public realm or the profession at large, impact, and public recognition of the candidate’s endeavors.
