Add your voice and your story to my next musical creation!
Dear friends,

I'm so excited to include your voices in my music! In order to participate, you'll need to make an audio recording of you and/or family members responding one or more of the following prompts:

1) Tell the story about a particular dish that brings you closer to loved ones

What did it smell like? Who used to make it for you?

2) Tell us about a specific family dish that you're struggling to recreate

What is it about that dish that you're struggling to capture?

3) If your ancestors were with you in the kitchen, what cooking advice to you imagine they might give you?

Might they be proud, amused, or perhaps frustrated to see what you are doing?

Feel free to upload multiple recordings with answers from different people. Recordings can be any length, but preferably between 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

You can record audio easily using the built-in "voice memo" or "voice recorder" app on your smartphone. Once you're done, you can transfer to your computer, and upload below. Or, you can just send the recording directly from the app to my email address: battatmusic@gmail.com. If you can’t figure out how to record audio, you can also submit videos through this form, and I will extract the audio afterwards. No matter what, please make sure to fill out this form, so I have your information.
