Due to Covid restrictions, our club is limited in the number of swimmers that we can accept. All submitted registrations will receive an email to verify whether or not your swimmer is registered.  If your swimmers registration is in excess of the allowed limit, they can be placed on a waiting list in the event a spot opens for them or if guidelines expand to allow for additional swimmers.

General Policy Information

The Rosetown Royals General Policy is attached at the bottom of this form and can be downloaded by selecting the option near the top right corner. The icon is a downward arrow.

Requirement of Swimmers Ability

All swimmers must be able to swim a 25 meter front crawl and a 25 meter back crawl. The swimmer cannot grab onto lane ropes or walls. The swimmer cannot stop. It must be continuous and unassisted.

As well, swimmers will be completing numerous 25 meter lengths during a swimming session. While the above noted minimum is a requirement, swimmers will be expected to have the strength and stamina to continue through each session. This is particularily important this year with Covid guidelines restricting our physical distances with other swimmers. 

Coaches will not be entering the water to assist, manipulate  or demonstrate the proper form the swimmer is to complete. Guidelines do not allow for any physical manipulation. Swimmers must be confident in their swimming abilities and every attempt will be made to verbally and visually articulate what is required from the swimmer to achieve proper form for the swim style being taught.

2021 General Information

Swimmers aged 6+ will be accepted . A swimmer must be aged 6 by April 30.

Swimmer Fee = $200 per swimmer

June 2021
- Dryland Training at Rosetown Swimming Pool Park
- Tuesdays & Thursday 5:30pm - 630pm

July 2021
- At the Rosetown Leisure Aquatic Centre
- Monday to Thursday 5:30pm - 7:00pm
- Tuesday and Thursday 6:45am - 8:00am
** If Rosetown is not open, then Biggar pool will be looked at**

August 2021
- At the Rosetown Leisure Aquatic Centre
- Monday to Thursday 5:30pm - 7:00pm
- Tuesday and Thursday 6:45am - 8:00am

Last swim date is August 19, 2021

These are the sessions available to the club. Swimmers may be limited to half of what is available to the club, depending on current guidelines.
