Request to observe a Global Council meeting
PWYP members may request to observe online Global Council meetings, and will be accepted as observers on verification by their regional representative and provided that the number of observers is deemed reasonable.
PWYP members who wish to observe an online meeting can apply by completing the details requested below in advance of the meeting, at least two weeks before the meeting, so as to obtain the Global Council’s consent ahead of the meeting.

Please find below useful information about attending a Global Council meeting as an observer, to support the smooth running of meetings.
Advanced booking
Observers will be limited to a reasonable number deemed by the Global Council and places will need to be requested in advance of the meeting, at least two weeks before the meeting, so as to enable obtaining the Global Council’s consent ahead of the meeting.
Meeting etiquette
Whilst the Chair and the members of the Global Council welcomes observers to attend the meeting, there is an expectation that the Global Council will be able to conduct its business without undue interruption. Therefore, during online meetings, observers will be muted.
Please note that some items of the agenda may be closed to observers. For those sessions, any observers will be asked to leave the meeting. We will facilitate this during the meeting accordingly.
Arrival
The meeting will begin promptly at the advertised time, so please arrive in good time.
Your attendance at the Global Council Meetings will be recorded in the published minutes.
Papers for the meeting
Our policy is to make meeting papers available digitally which will be circulated via email. The minutes of meetings are published on our website here.
