The Friends' School - Musical Instrument Hire

There are a range of instruments available for hire through the School for students receiving instrumental tuition, playing in an ensemble and/or studying Music as a subject. The hire fee is $90 per term, which includes annual general maintenance.

Hired instruments become the responsibility of the student and their parents. If the instrument is lost or damaged, full replacement or costs associated with repair must occur at the parent's expense.

Students playing a reed instrument will need to supply their own reeds at all times. It is suggested that they have a couple of spares as back-ups as well.

We will do our very best to accommodate instrumental hire requests and should a problem arise with availability we will contact you.
