Here is a list of things we are doing to ensure the safety of our players and staff in the events run by BEAST Basketball Training.
We are anticipating the following number of persons during each hour at our event:
4 Coaches (2 per court)
2 Refs (1 per court)
2 Scorekeepers (1 per court)
20 players (10 per court, only 6 per court playing at a time. 3v3)
Projected Game Times/Days:
Mondays (7th-8th) 5pm (high school) 6:15pm
Tuesday’s (2nd,3rd & 4th) 5pm (5th-6th) 6:15pm
Wednesday (2nd, 3rd & 4th) 4:30pm (5th-6th) 5:45pm
Thursday (7th-8th) 4:30pm (high school) 5:45pm
Before the Game:
All players/Coaches/ Staff must fill out an online form stating that they have none of the following symptoms:
Fever or chills
● Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
● Muscle or body aches
● New loss of taste or smell
● Sore throat
● Congestion or runny nose
● Nausea or vomiting
All players/ coaches/ staff must arrive 5 minutes early for a mandatory temperature check and hand sanitizer spritz. Players without masks will not be permitted to playing. We will have extra masks handy.
Parents are limited to one parent per family to spectate
Spectators must stand behind the marked areas in the park/playground
During the Game:
Players on the sideline will have a designated area where they will stand that is marked by cones that will be socially distanced.
When subs are made, one player will walk off the court on the baseline, the player being subbed in will enter from the half court line.
Free Throw Attempts
Only 2 rebounders and one offensive player will be allowed to rebound the free throw.
After the game:
If players do not have a double header, immediately following the game they give a courteous bow to their opponents and exit through the designated areas on the blueprint.
There will be an interim period of 30 minutes in between age groups. The previous group will have time to exit, and the next group will have time to enter and repeat the system.
Parents and Players will not be allowed to loiter in the parking lot following the activity.
● To participate or attend, organizers should ensure that participants, volunteers, coaches and spectators must show no signs or symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days.
● If any individual develops symptoms of COVID-19 during the activity, they should promptly inform organizers and must be removed from the activity and instructed to return home.
● BBT is responsible for following all guidelines and creating a safe environment for participants.
●Organizers must educate all participants and spectators on the applicable protocols for the relevant activity, protocols for entering/leaving the facility, and any other hygiene requirements.
● BBT will ensure that hand sanitizer is available to all players and that a first aid kit is on site at all times.
Safety Precautions and what we will have on hand:
Hand sanitizers and spray sanitizers for the balls
Touchless thermometers to take everyone's temperature.
Every staff member is following the CDC protocol.
First aid kits with ice packs
Extra disposable masks for people that need them. ( Please Make sure your have your mask on at all times)
