  • Leadership In Motion HBCU Scholarship Application Overview
    The Leadership In Motion Scholarship is designed to empower and support emerging leaders who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, community service, and personal growth. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education while recognizing their potential to make a positive impact in their communities. Deadline Extended for Male Applicants to Saturday, May 3rd. ( Extension granted to support DEI for black male enrollment in college, particularly at HBCU's)

    Eligibility Criteria:
    Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students.
    A minimum GPA requirement (typically 2.5 or higher).
    Demonstrated involvement in community service or leadership activities.
    A commitment to pursuing or attending an HBCU.

    Selection Process: A panel of judges will review applications based on the criteria of leadership potential, community involvement, and academic performance.
    Selected finalists may be invited for an interview.

    Award Notification:
    Recipients will be notified by [April 14th], and awards will be presented during the [HBCU Scholarship & Sneaker Ball], where scholarship winners will be honored, Sunday- May 4th at 4:00 pm
