GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT

At Bethel Christian School, we believe that God has placed the FULL responsibility for raising a child in the hands of the parents and that God has called us to do all that is in our power to train up our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Bethel Christian School exists to aid you in fulfilling your responsibility. We CANNOT fulfill your responsibility for you. We believe that the sacrifice on your part to provide your child with a quality education is worth the commitment.

We view our teachers as missionaries whose first desire is to serve the Lord. Your words of encouragement throughout the year are priceless.

Finally, we would appreciate your financial and volunteer help. Tuition does not cover the full cost of educating your child. Give of your finances when you can and enjoy the benefit of tax exemption. Give of your time to volunteer in a variety of opportunities to better serve all our students.

*The $50.00 registration fee must be paid by April 30th. Registration fees made after April 30th will be $100.

**A $20.00 non-refundable testing fee will be charged for all new families entering the school. This fee will be deducted from the $50.00 deposit fee if the student is enrolled.

PARENTS’ AGREEMENT
- We give permission for our child to take part in all school activities, sports, and school-sponsored trips away from the school premises and absolve the school from liability to us or our child because of any injury to our child at school or during any school activity. Should legal action be taken against Bethel Christian School or an employee or agent thereof, on behalf of my child or myself and the school or its agent not be found at fault, I agree to pay any attorney fees, court fees, damages, or other costs that BCS or its agent should incur to defend itself against such action.
- We agree to uphold and support the high academic standards of Bethel Christian School by ensuring the completion of homework and assignments and will endeavor to support and uphold the principles, practices, and educational policies of the school in every way.
- We recognize, that for our child to make good progress in his work, it is essential that he have confidence in his teacher and school. Therefore, we will do all in our power to see that our child respects and obeys the school staff and rules. We agree that if our child should become involved in any difficulty at school, we will not complain to other parents, but with a prayerful, Christian spirit will register our complaints with the teacher or principal.
- We agree to pay the first tuition payment by August 1st. We understand that from September-May the monthly tuition payments are due by the 10th of each month. Any account not paid by the 10th of each month will be assessed a $20.00 late fee. Any child whose account is not paid in full by the end of the month will not be allowed to return to school until complete payment has been made. No grade cards will be released until bills are paid in full.
- We grant permission to the school to provide appropriate discipline to our child in matters concerning behavioral conduct as well as academic instruction. We further agree to support the school by providing discipline to our child in the home. We understand that any student is subject to review for dismissal at any time. If this is done, or if our child is withdrawn, we realize that the current month’s charges are due and will not be refunded.
- We have read ALL the materials concerning enrollment and the BCS Policy Book. We agree with the educational, disciplinary, and moral policies of Bethel Christian School and will support the administration regarding these policies. The foundation for every policy is the unchanging, inspired, and inerrant Word of God, which is always a “lamp to our feet and a light to our path.” Bethel Christian School reserves the right to discontinue enrollment of any student whose lifestyle, conduct, influence, attendance, or progress is not in keeping with the moral and academic standards of the school.
