* TERMS AND CONDITIONS* This field is required. RETAINERS, DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS and TAXES 1. The ordered date is considered “booked” upon approval Of Custom cake order form. A $50 retainer fee and payment of starting cake price. 2. The final payment is DUE before pickup. 3. If the client FAILS to make initial payment, DOLLIE’S BAKERY will cease work and the order will be cancelled. 4. Preferred methods of payment are debt, credit or cash. LIABILITY 1. DOLLIE’S BAKERY is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage to the cake or shortage of the cake caused by anyone NOT employed by DOLLIE’S BAKERY. 2. DOLLIE’S BAKERY will NOT provide a cake if final payment has not been paid in full. FULFILLMENT OF CONTRACT 1. DOLLIE’S BAKERY is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any delay or inability to pick up order based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, labor troubles, or any other circumstances beyond DOLLIE’S BAKERY control. 2. If DOLLIE’S BAKERY has completed the cake but it cannot be picked up due to uncontrollable circumstances, the client will be refunded 25% OF THE STARTING CAKE PRICE. 3. When the client picks up the cake, DOLLIE’S BAKERY NO LONGER ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO IT. POSTPONEMENT/CANCELLATION 1. The client must notify DOLLIE’S BAKERY if there is a change in the date of the event or a complete cancellation. 2. If the postponement occurs before 14 DAYS PRIOR of the event, no penalty fee will be charged. 3. If the postponement occurs after 7 DAYS PRIOR to the event, the client will be charged a $25 fee. The fee will apply to each postponement within 7 DAYS of event. 4. If cancellation occurs 14 DAYS prior to the event, all money will be refunded minus $50 retainer fee. 5. If a cancellation occurs within 7 days to event, there will be NO REFUND GRANTED. CHANGES TO ORDER 1. Any changes MUST be submitted AT LEAST 14 DAYS in advance. 2. There will be no changes allowed 7 DAYS prior to the event. DESIGN OF THE CAKE 1. DOLLIE’S BAKERY will follow the clients request closely to create the cake desired. 2. DOLLIE’S BAKERY will NOT duplicate an EXACT COPY of another cake artists work, but will ensure the look is similar. SERVING AMOUNT & SIZES 1. Serving size estimations are NOT GUARANTEED to be exact. 2. DOLLIE’S BAKERY is NOT responsible for a shortage of the cake if the pieces are cut to large. ALLERGY & DIETARY WARNINGS 1. DOLLIE’S BAKERY baked goods may have come in contact with the following ingredients: Natural dyes, artificial dyes, artificial flavorings, sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial color and other allergens not listed. 2. The client is responsible for pointing out to guest’s potential allergy hazards. PHOTOGRAPHS 1. DOLLIE’S BAKERY reserves the right to use all photographs of the cake for advertising purposes.
