  • Bellevue Washington South Stake YW’s Camp Code of Conduct

  • “We want the young women to grow in confidence, positivity and spiritual
strength as they increase their belief, focus, and trust in the Savior, who
makes all things possible.” -Stake Youth Camp Committee Leaders.

Camp should be spiritually, physically, and emotionally safe for all young women. It should be a refuge from the world and a place where the Spirit can be freely present. To accomplish these two goals of safety and spiritual growth, the following rules will be in place for the 2021 Bellevue South Stake YW Camp:
-Cell phones will not be permitted by any youth at camp.
-Youth are not permitted to drive themselves to/from camp.
-The use of clean language is expected by each youth and adult attending camp.
-Youth will not be permitted to leave camp without parental consent. Adult leaders must be aware of the situation of each youth, including the date and time they will be leaving.
-Youth are expected to inform their adult leaders of the youth’s whereabouts at all
    times.
-Youth must sleep where they are assigned, without exception.
-All youth and adult leaders must follow two-deep leadership.
-All youth and adult leaders will be required to complete the children and youth
protection training. Youth leaders will be required to attend additional training before
they can serve in a leadership position at camp.
It is with love and concern for each youth that we have instituted a Young Women’s Camp Code of Conduct. Violation of the above rules will result in actions up to and including the youth being sent home from camp. By signing this document, you are stating that you understand these rules, and you are committing to follow them.
