The Advanced Skills and Team Clinic is designed for experienced players that want to take their game to the next level.
This camp teaches players the individual skill breakdown and team concepts that are taught at the high school varsity level. We start by introducing the “motion” offensive concepts during this clinic. The clinic will use half and full court competitions for players to refine the skills taught at camp. A typical session will focus on individual player skill development drills like scoring moves on the perimeter, dribbling and passing in the motion offense, 1 on 1 from the wing, 2 on 2 “sit and kick” action, and 3 on 3 read and react.
The 1st half of camp will consist of individual offensive moves, defensive positioning and pressure, and team offensive and defensive concepts that are taught in the Laker varsity program.
The 2nd half of camp will consist of team play and competitive situations designed to utilize the skill set taught during the 1st half of camp.
The clinic is held at Prior Lake High School.
