Parent/Guardian Involvement and Time Commitment:
Students will need parent/guardian support and involvement. As much as we lean on our student ambassadors, we've learned over the years that students with strong parent/guardian support are those that typically have the best results and growth in the program. Please note this before applying.
Students will need to identify and ask a teacher or community member to serve as their campus mentor or community mentor depending on which setting they choose to focus their service project in school campus/district or in their surrounding community.
From time to time parent/guardians will need to make contact with the campus mentor or community mentor to touch base on the service project.
If student cannot drive to trainings, a parent/guardian will need to ensure that they can provide transportation.
Campus or Community Mentor Involvement & Time Committment:
Students will need the support and involvement from a dedicated campus mentor or community mentor.
