This is the online application for the SBCC Study Abroad Programs. Please be sure you select the program you are applying for. You will not pay your application fee until you have officially been accepted into the program. Once you have been officially accepted, your spot will not be held until we have received your application fee payment. Instructions on how to pay will be provided in the acceptance notification.
What you will need to complete this application:
1. A current photo (a close-up photo similar to a passport or driver's license photo that clearly identifies your face.) DO NOT SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR PASSPORT
2. The Student Conduct Release form completed by the official responsible for student conduct at the school you most recently completed a semester. You can download the form on our website or HERE.
3. Two recommendation forms. At least one must be completed by a recent professor. The form can be downloaded on our website or HERE.
4. Your unofficial transcript.
If you do not have the above materials, please close this window and collect the materials first. Once you have everything, come back to this form and upload all required materials with this online application.
If the application deadline is in three days or less and you don't have the required documents yet, please contact the Study Abroad office at 805-730-4294 or nwalther@pipeline.sbcc.edu
Partial applications can not be accepted. All required materials must be submitted with this form and all required signatures must be obtained before submission.
We strongly recommend that you review the specific program details of the program you are applying for before submitting the application. You can find the program details by visiting our general program page, then scrolling down and clicking on the specific program of choice.

6. Complete and submit the application successfully, including all required documents, and complete the interview with the program director
To be able to accept you into the program, we will need all the required documents and you must complete the interview with the program director. You are not officially accepted into the program until you receive the acceptance notification from the Study Abroad office (not the program director.)
Apply early as the number of spaces in the programs is limited and the programs may fill before the deadline. Please check the deadline for the program you are applying for on our website as they are different for each program. Once the program reaches its maximum number, applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Applications may be accepted after the deadline if space is available.
