The Olive Mary Stitt PTA in collaboration with Hello Art Studio is excited to present our virtual Art Club is back!
What: A virtual drawing class taught by the owner (Miss Christine) of Hello Art Studio in downtown Arlington Heights for students 1-5. Younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun as well! A pre-recorded video link will be sent each Sunday for students to complete that weeks project in their free time, or join friends in your own zoom to complete projects! An optional zoom class will then be hosted each Saturday by Miss Christine. In the zoom, students will be able to discuss and share projects, get feedback and ask Miss Christine any questions!
When: The session will be four weeks long.

(Optional zoom discussions will be Saturdays: 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1)
Where: The comfortof your home and ease of your free time.The discussions will be held on zoom!
Saturday Zoom Time: Saturday's at 12pm
Who: Any Student/Family geared towards grades 1-5
Cost: $25 (cash/check) for the 4 week session
*Checks made out to Olive PTA. Checks/Cash can be dropped off at Heather Schramms house:1206 N.Pine Ave in an envelope labeled with the students name.
Deadline: Form submission and payment due Saturday April 3rd
Requirements:
The club will need to have a minimum of 10 students or will be cancelled and money paid will be refunded.
The class will be tuaght by Christine Thorton, ownder of Hello Art Studio. As a former elementary school art teacher, teaching art to kids has been her passion for many years. Her journey has taken her from school teacher, to stay at home mom, to private studio owner. After teaching out of her home for 15 years, in 2019 she opened a brick and mortar space in downtown Arlington Heights.
