OPEPC Guidelines:
Must be affiliated with a Performing Rights Organization (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SOCAN)
All Producers certify that they are the original composer and copyright owner of any track submitted for placement with the OPEPC. (*Note: Any tracks with multiple producers must be approved before submission if one or more producers are not affiliated with the OPEPC)
Producers are 1099 independent contractors and not considered employees of the OPEPC. All payments for sales of tracks will be paid out weekly on Fridays for payments received in the previous week.
Any tracks submitted for placement must come with Exclusive Rights and shall remain in the OPEPC catalog for a minimum of 2 years from submission date (WAV, Stems, Split Sheets, etc must be submitted within 24 hours of placement to be delivered to client)
No guarantees of placement, income potential or sales is being made by the OPEPC. Producers agree by affiliation that their brand, name, catalog placements, track tags/snippets and likeness shall be used in OPEPC promotions and marketing campaigns
Producers agree to compensate the OPEPC a fee of 20% of the gross amount of any sale and 5-20% of Music Publishing royalties depending on the negotiated percentage with the final purchaser
Producer acknowledges that Bout Our Business Worldwide (BMI) or Bout Our Business Music (ASCAP) will be listed on record as a Publisher for all placements
Producer agrees to submit a minimum of 3 EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS ONLY tracks per month by the 5th of each month
Producer agrees to pay monthly dues of $9.99 on the 5th day of each month
Any client that purchases tracks from OPEPC shall remain clients and shall not be solicited for purchases outside of the Coalition for a period of 5 years
