Scholarship criteria as follows:
- Recipient must be a Garland ISD graduating high school student.
- Recipient must reside in the city of Garland.
- Recipient must plan to pursue a career in construction, architecture, engineering or a housing trades related field.
- Recipient must plan to enroll in a trade school, two-year community college, four-year university or join the workforce upon high school graduation.
Scholarship awards can only be applied to the cost of tuition, industry certification, textbooks, workforce needs (e.g. power tools, drills, tool belt/box, etc.) Payments will be made directly to the college/university or tools will be purchased and provided to the recipients by the Garland ISD Education Foundation. Please note that meeting these qualifications and submitting your application is not a guarantee you will receive a scholarship.
