All contractors who want to undertake public work are required to provide bonds.
The program we’ll present will give attendees a basic knowledge of the product
and, as importantly, how to qualify.
The objective of this program is to familiarize all participants with:
• What bonds are
• How they are used in construction
• Most importantly, what they must to do to qualify
Presenter:
Nationally known speaker and writer Jack Dumpert brings forty years’ experience to the class room. He’s worked at every level of the surety bond business. He’s been involved in bonding the construction of schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, airports, hockey arenas and rapid transit lines.
He has taught the surety and fidelity bond portions of the state agent and broker licensing course at Canisius College and Bryant and Stratton Business Institute.
He’s a past president of the Surety Association of Buffalo and a past Chairman of the Construction Exchange of Buffalo and Western New York where he now serves on the advisory council.
Articles he has written have been published in several trade journals.
He’s a graduate of Canisius College and holds a MBA from the University of Buffalo.
