    Alberta Society of Surveying & Mapping Technologies proxy voting form for the 2024/2025 Annual General Meeting on Friday, November 14th, 2025. Proxies must be received by midnight on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.
  • Proxy Instructions

    1. What is a proxy? It is your legal designation of another person to vote on your behalf at a meeting of the membership of the Alberta Society of Surveying & Mapping Technologies. That other person is called a “proxy”. If you designate someone as your proxy in a written document, that document is also called a proxy, or a proxy card. You are free to choose your own proxy holder.
    2. Who is entitled to vote? All Regular Members of the ASSMT are entitled to vote. If you name a proxy, that individual must also be a Regular Certified paid-up member and be attending the AGM.
    3. How many votes are required? The ASSMT By-Laws indicate that a total of 20, or 10% of the Regular Certified paid-up membership must be present, either in person or by proxy.
    4. How can I revoke a proxy?
      You can revoke a proxy prior to the completion of voting at the AGM meeting by:
      • Giving written notice to the ASSMT Executive Assistant (executive.assistant@assmt.ca);
      • Delivering a later-dated proxy; or
      • Voting in person at the meeting
