Below are some important reminders regarding end-of-season departures.
We ask that you take some time to review the Important Information packet for full departure guidelines, expectations, and potential fees. This is located in your unit.
ROOM CLEANLINESS:
You are responsible for the cleanliness of your room during your stay as well as upon departure. The room and bathroom should be left in a clean, move-in ready condition with the exception of linens – these can be left in a neat pile(s) on the bed. Any post-departure cleaning for a room not cleaned is charged at up to $75 per hour, and any removal of garbage is $100 per occupant.
DAMAGES:
Any damages begin at $40 per hour + materials - a minimum of one hour.
KEYS, ACCESS CARDS & PARKING PERMITS:
Keys, access cards, and parking permits (if applicable) must be returned upon departure - a fee of up to $100 is assessed (each) if not returned. Some locations may require door knob replacement if a key requires a replacement; this is a $100 charge.
MONEY OWED:
Any money owed (including fines, fees, rent) must be paid prior to having any eligible deposit amount returned via payroll. Rent will be prorated upon departure. Once your departure date is communicated and confirmed then your ledger will be updated to reflect your final rent balance.
Please note that failure to provide notice of your departure will result in being charged a daily rate until being informed of your departure.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
Eligible Security Deposit will be refunded via payroll within 30 days of a full units departure to tenants meeting the following specifications:
1. Employment and Housing Contracts are completed in full.
2. Units/Rooms are left in a move-in ready condition and undamaged.
Please note that the right to the refund can be forfeited for various reasons (i.e. damages, money owed, etc.) as highlighted in the Employee Housing Agreement. Early contract cancellations will see a fee equivalent to the deposit per the lease agreement. If an early contract cancellation request form was submitted and approved then a fee equivalent of $100 will be applied.
Please remember that any issues in regards to room condition, rent payments, damages, etc. may have an effect on employee housing eligibility in the future.
Residents are allowed 3 days (72 hours) after the final date of work to move out if the Season Contract is fulfilled. If a resident(s) leaves prior to the Season Contract fulfillment, a move-out must be completed within 1 day (24 hours).
