What is soil made of? How can we use simple materials to make a mini greenhouse? Can you grow seeds in THAT?!? We embark on a fun and hands-on exploration of botany as we plant the seeds of science together! Sunflowers, beans, wheat grass, and more!
Materials associated with this program are provided via a science kit available for nationwide shipping. The fee for this program is $135. Multiple young scientists can share materials, or you can order additional supplies (additional materials are shipped together in the same box).
Week 1: Exploring Seeds & Soil

We explore our topic with weekly live Zoom workshops led by Ms. Carmen. Workshops are not recorded and are approximately 45 minutes in duration. To participate, your young scientist will need a flat area to work on, and access to a device that allows them to see the science lesson.
