Kids Comp Team Open Mat

Gracie Barra Bondi is proud to announce our

Kids Competition Team Open Mat!

We will be holding this session on

Saturday 26th March from 2:15 pm - 4:15 pm

We are opening our training session to all competitors who would like to join us. We see this as an opportunity to strengthen the BJJ competition scene among the younger generation and help our athletes share the mats with their friends and peers.

Due to safety reasons, this session will be limited to competitors who meet the following minimum requirements:

- 8 years old or older
- Trained for at least 2 years consistently (Grey Belt with 2 Red Stripes)
- Has competed at least twice

Things to consider:

1. Athletes will need to wear a full Gracie Barra uniform (GB Jacket, Pants, Belt and Rashguard) - rental uniforms at GB Bondi are subject to availability

2. We will not be allowing videos or photos to be taken during the session to respect the privacy of all athletes participating

3. We will not be allowing parents to coach their children during the session

4. We advise all athletes to arrive 20 minutes early to fill out our waiver form and get comfortable with the gym and their training partners

5. We strongly recommend all athletes bring a fitted mouthguard and water bottle for an optimal and safe training experience
