The Hope Rising Challenge is a call to individuals to spread hope throughout the Diocese of Fall River through acts of service.
Who can do it?
This challenge is open to all young people within our Diocese. Individuals are able to work on their own or as part of a group.
What's the goal?
Projects should directly benefit and bring hope to an individual, group, or community during the Easter season, with those engaging in the project not receiving anything in return (such as payment or gifts).
Project Awards & Criteria
Three of the submitted projects will be awarded with a $100 donation to the entity or individual(s) they served through their project.
If submitting as a group, only one person from the group needs to submit the project. There is a space to note team members below.
Projects will be judged by Diocesan staff on the following criteria:
- How well the project served, or increased hope, to those it served
- Creativity of the project
- How well individual(s) brought awareness to an issue or population in need
- Does it reflect Catholic teaching and works of mercy
When choosing a project, keep in mind the Corporal & Spiritual Works of Mercy and use them as guidance for your project.
Project Submission
Complete the form below to submit a project. Projects should be submitted by the end of the Easter season - May 23, 2021.
Share as much detail as possible, keeping the criteria in mind. You can also upload additional documents or pictures at the bottom of the form. If you have difficulty submitting the form or adjoining materials, you can email them to dcarvalho@dioc-fr.org.
