Assessment Criteria and Terms and Conditions:
Australian Turkish Advocacy Alliance (ATA-A) is running this program in order to empower members of the Australian-Turkish community with new skills and knowledge to advocate for causes important to our people.
The program will accept applicants from all over Australia, and workshops will take place simulatenously online and in person in Sydney.
If you are accepted to the program, you will be required to attend all four workshops, or prove that you have watched the subject matter module, to receive your certificate of completion.
Each participant also will be required to provide a report on the issue of their choice, their proposed course of action to tackle the issue and how their participation will positvely impact their ability to advocate for the issue.
Our assestment criteria has been outlined as follows:
1. The applicants must be a citizen of Australia, and identify their ancestry from one of the following countries:
a. Republic of Turkey
b. Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (or from Cyprus)
c. Azerbaijan
d. Other Turkic nations
2. The applicants need to show willingness to enagage in advocacy work on behalf of the greater Australian-Turkish community.
