COVID-19 required educators to take a fresh look at language teaching in a digital world. The KWLA 2021 VIRTUAL conference will look forward to the future of language education. This year brings the release of new World Language standards by the Kentucky Board of Education, guidelines for the Kentucky Seal of Biliteracy, and the new ideas, technology, and methods in our classrooms brought about by the virtual teaching experience. Join us as we look forward to the new future of language education in Kentucky.
We ask that you consider the following questions as you submit your proposal:
How will my session inspire attendees to take the lessons learned from the past and look forward?
How will I involve the virtual audience?
Sessions will be 45 minutes long. Sessions must be live, and presenters must be available to present from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday, September 18.
Call for proposals closes on June 15th 2021 at 11:59 PM. Acceptance emails will be sent in late June, and all accepted presenters for the virtual conference will be provided with a free registration.
