Thanks for your interest!

I work at Hot Damn Tattoo in Portland, OR, a co-op shop that I am a part-owner of. Â
Due to the volume of requests I get, I am not able to accept all projects that come my way. To ensure your project is selected, please read this thoroughly.Â
Currently, I am prioritizing projects that are within my art style. This includes the following:
Pop Culture portraits or references
Pet Portraits
Full color designs
Illustrative plants, animals, flowers, fruit, bugs, food, creatures, mermaids, fantasy, etc. - anything that requires me to flex my drawing muscles
Horror movie references
Lady heads, pin-ups, hands holding things
Traditional/Neo-traditional
Mothmen
Cosmic Spaghetti melty gap filler weirdness
Any other wacky ideas you may have, I'm always open to silly stuff
Some tips for floral requests: too many different types of flowers make for an odd and discombobulated-looking design. Choose one larger flower and 1-2 smaller ones if you want a variety. Flowers that grow in stalks aren't my favorite to work with, unless they are used as an accent, like lavender, snapdragons, or wildflowers. When all the flowers are sticks, it doesn't make for a good composition. Additionally, I don't do big round flowers that look more like geometric or abstract designs nowadays; instead, I prefer things like succulents, dahlias, baby's breath, and hydrangea. They don't work well with the way I like to draw - I keep my designs very fluid and wild, and those flowers have a lot of structure that I have a hard time reconciling with. If you're having a hard time narrowing your request down, include everything in the form, and I'll help you figure out a way to edit it so it makes a good tattoo.Â
Things I'm not currently interested in:
Soft black and gray (with rare exceptions made)
Pocket watches/compasses/maps
Mandala/Polynesian/Tribal/Geometric work
Tree Silhouettes
Flags
Watercolor
Minimalism
Color Realism (no outlines)
Sugar Skulls
Portraits of family members
Replicating other people's drawings or tattoos
If you are unsure if your idea is right for me, feel free to fill out the form anyway; I'm always happy to chat.
I am willing to do cover-ups and/or reworks if I can execute them well. All skin tones welcome; I have extensive experience with melanin-rich skin.
