    25M/18M Format 

     

    Saturday is the 25M Distance, 3 shooting times available, 60 arrows, 60CM Single Spot or Vertical target face.  Archers may have to share a target face with one other archer if Covid 19 restrictions allow us 4 archers to a bale

    Sunday is the 18M Distance, 3 shooting times available, 60 arrows, Single Spot or Triangle ONLY.  No Vertical

    3 Arrow ends.  2 Minutes per end.

    USA Archery Dress Code Policy
    The USA Archery Dress Code Policy applies to the following individuals when in front of the
    Spectator Line at USA Archery Sanctioned Events:
    Athletes, coaches, managers, credentialed media, team officials, tournament officials, and
    archer agents.
    1. Must present a professional, athletic appearance while on the field. (Torn, ripped or badly
    faded clothing articles are not allowed.) Clothing may be of any color, except as noted below.
    2. No camo or blue denim (jeans) may be worn at target events. Accessories such as trim on
    shirts, caps, quivers, armguards, footwear, etc., are permitted to be camo. At field and 3-D
    events, denim may be worn but camo may not be worn.
    3. Shorts, skorts and skirts must not be shorter than fingertip length while standing normally.
    Leggings (tight fitting/yoga-type stretch pants) are allowed when worn with compliant shorts,
    skorts or skirts.
    4. Men and women are required to wear upper garments covering the front and back of the
    body and covering the midriff when at full draw. Women's upper garments shall have a
    minimum strap of 3" or sleeves. Men's upper garments shall have short or long sleeves.
    5. Shoes must cover the entire foot. Sport/athletic shoes are recommended to all athletes and
    coaches during target events.
    6. At no time will any athlete or coach wear any article bearing any image or language to be
    considered offensive to others.
    7. When participating in the U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships, U.S. National 3-D
    Collegiate Championships, and Regional Outdoor Collegiate Championships, archers and team
    officials must wear tops that indicate what school they are representing. Apparel must conform
    to all university rules regarding school logo usage. During the Team and Mixed Team Rounds, all
    members of one team by class and division shall be dressed in the same team uniform. The
    teams of one school may wear different design and color uniforms (i.e. team in different classes
    and divisions are not required to match). Team coaches and managers may wear a different
    style uniform than the team, but should wear the same colors and should be easily identified as
    the official of their team. Headwear is optional. In the case of inclement weather, exceptions
    will be made by Chairman of Juges (i.e. raingear, jackets, etc.)

    Arrow Requirements: Maximum arrow shaft diameter allowed will be 0.422 inches, with a point diameter not to exceed 0.425 inches. The shaft diameter will include any wrap placed on the arrow and will include the size of the nock and the nock insert.

    ADULT DIVISIONS and YOUTH DIVISIONS

    “Senior”, (any age)

    “Masters” from the year of their 50th birthday

    “Junior” through the calendar year of their 20th birthday

    “Cadet” through the calendar year of their 17th birthday

    “Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday

    “Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday

    COVID 19 GUIDELINES

    TO FOLLOW HEALTH GUIDELINES OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA, ARIZONA GAME AND FISH, AND BEN AVERY SHOOTING FACILITY; ALL PEOPLE WHO ENTER THE BUILDING MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. Archers do not wear a mask when shooting.  IF THE AGENCIES REMOVE THIS RESTRICTION, WE WILL REMOVE THE RESTRICTION.  

    WE PREFER EVERYONE SUPPLY THEIR OWN MASK.  HOWEVER WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED SUPPLY ON HAND IF SOMEONE NEEDS ONE.

    FAMILY MEMBERS or COACHES (not both) OF ARCHERS ARE RESTRICTED TO 1 PER ARCHER AT THIS TIME AND THEY MUST ADHERE TO THE SAME GUIDELINES.

    ARCHER/FAMILY MEMBERS/COACHES EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT DESERT SKY ARCHERS, USA ARCHERY ARIZONA, USA ARCHERY, ARIZONA GAME AND FISH, BEN AVERY SHOOTING FACILITY, THE STATE OF ARIZONA PLUS ANY AND ALL INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED GROUPS CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF ANYONE CONTRACTS THE COVID 19 VIRUS WHILE ATTENDING THE TOURNAMENT.

    ARCHERS TO BRING THEIR OWN PENS.  THEY WILL PUT UP THEIR OWN TARGET FACES.  DESERT SKY ARCHERS WILL PROVIDE THE TARGET FACES.  Personal Target Pins can not be used.  DSA will supply sanitized target pins

    DESERT SKY ARCHERS WILL SPRAY DOWN THE TARGET MATTS AND ALL HARD SURFACES BETWEEN SESSIONS.

    DESERT SKY ARCHERS WILL PROVIDE HAND SANITIZER AT KEY LOCATIONS OF THE BUILDING

    Maximum of 50 people in the building.  Once we hit 50 no one will be allowed to enter.  DSA reserves the right to ask people to leave to allow archers to enter.

    ARCHERS WILL TURN IN THEIR SCORECARDS AT A DESIGNATED LOCATION AND EXIT THE FACILITY AS SOON AS THEY CAN WITH THEIR GUEST.

    ARCHERS ARRIVING TO THE TOURNAMENT MAY BE ASKED TO WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL THE PREVIOUS GROUP IS DONE OR OCCUPANCY NUMBERS ALLOW THEM TO ENTER

    IF THE STATE OF ARIZONA, ARIZONA GAME AND FISH, BEN AVERY SHOOTING FACILITY OR USA ARCHERY CHANGE THE POLICIES IN A WAY THAT CHANGES THE FORMAT AND/OR IMPACTS THE ARCHER, THE ARCHER WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL.

    CHECK IN WILL BE DONE ONLINE TWO DAYS PRIOR TO START OF TOURNAMENT.  YOUR CHECK IN INFORMATION WILL HAVE YOUR LANE (TARGET) NUMBER AND SHOOTING POSITION. 

    Please understand these requirements are in place to protect all athletes, officials and volunteers of the tournament.  

    We must get through this together and still enjoy our sport.
