We at Reset Behavior LLC understand that somethings are beyond our control and there will be times when you must cancel or are late to therapy sessions. However, part of our mission at Reset Behavior LLC is to provide consistent delivery of ABA services. We encourage our clients and their families to maintain prompt and regular attendance at all scheduled therapy sessions and supervision meetings.
Please complete the cancellation or reschedule session form located in your client portal or ask your RBT/BCBA to send you a link. Please complete this as early as possible and at minimum 24 hours before your session. You can also cancel your therapy session by texting or calling 702-992-7908.
Emergencies: If it is necessary to cancel a scheduled therapy session due to an emergency, please call and cancel as soon as possible, no later than 2-hour before your scheduled session. All cancellations must be communicated to your BCBA and/or the Clinical Director and a cancellation form needs to be completed.

Late Arrivals: Late Arrivals are defined as arriving 15 minutes or more to your scheduled therapy session. If you are 15 minutes late to your session, it may be cancelled. After 4 instances of late arrivals, within a rolling 30-day period, your schedule will be reviewed by the BCBA and Clinical Director. You will be placed on a probationary period until consistent attendance is demonstrated (i.e., 30-days of no cancellations or late arrivals). If additional late arrivals or cancellations occur, your case will be reviewed by the Clinical Director to determine appropriate action which can also lead to a termination of services.
Extended Vacations: We value the importance of family time and encourage our families to take time to relax and spend quality time with your family. If you are planning an extended vacation (1 week or longer), please inform your BCBA and/or the Clinical Director as soon as possible in writing. You may also notify your RBTs and they can provide you with the proper document for vacation request. However, if your absence will be 14 days or more, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to hold your scheduled time slot. Your ABA sessions may need to be rescheduled and subject to change upon your return.
Inclement Weather: Though rare, in the event of inclement weather, Reset Behavior LLC will make its determination and notify its clients and their families of any session cancellations via telephone calls to the phone numbers we have on file. Please ensure the number listed on the Emergency contact phone is correct at all times.
No Call/No Shows: A “no call/no show” is defined as when the client/family does not show up for a scheduled therapy session. If a client/family does not contact or respond to their RBT, BCBA, or the Clinical Director to discuss missed sessions or to reschedule a session within 3 days of the initial missed appointment, a warning letter will be mailed. From the date the letter is mailed, the family has 7 days to respond and schedule a meeting to discuss their circumstances with the Clinical Director. If the meeting with the Clinical Director is not scheduled within 7 days, the client’s ABA sessions will be suspended, and the responsible parties will be notified. If the family would like to resume services, an Attendance Improvement Plan must be signed with the Clinical Director prior to their return.
Please be advised that Reset Behavior LLC reserves the right to terminate services for frequent cancellations or no calls/no shows. If you cancel or fail to attend more than 90% of your scheduled sessions per month or no call/no show a total of 1 or more times in a rolling 30 day period, you will have your schedule and programming reviewed by the BCBA and Clinical Director to create an Attendance Improvement Plan or determine other appropriate action.
If attendance is inconsistent regardless of reason, a change in staff (RBT, BCBA) and scheduled session times can be changed. This can also occur due to staffing needs and consistency for Reset Behaviors employees.
If your scheduled RBT cancels your child's therapy session, our admin team will try our best to provide coverage. We will attempt to find another available RBT to provide session coverage, or if your child has group goals in their treatment plan, we may provide a 2-1 group session. If our team is unable to properly cover the session, then we will notify you of the cancellation by 8:30 am on the same day.
