The scholarship is a one time award made only to students that are graduating high school seniors, and entering into their freshman year of college. The first draft of $1,000 (50% of the fund) will be made after the executive board confirms all requirements have been met during their July 2024 meeting.

The additional $1,000, will be awarded after IBEW Local Union 613 receives the students "official academic transcript" for the first semester of college. The student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in order to receive the final payment.

I have read and understand the provisions set forth in order to receive the scholarship award, and I understand that the decision of the judges is final.
