Pet Ownership
We breed to the Canadian Kennel Club breed standard for height. Miniature poodles should be between 10-15” at the shoulder. The term “Moyen” is NOT a recognized size in North America and we do not intentionally breed for oversized miniature poodles, although on occasion we may have a puppy go oversized. We will do our best to predict mature height at 8 weeks, however we cannot guarantee it. Do you have a preference for height?
We primarily breed black poodles. On occasion we may have a Brown or White, however these are not our prominent colors. We do not intentionally breed multi colored poodles. Do you have a color preference?

Please be specific about energy level, confidence, anything that is important to you. Remember this is an active breed that needs more than just a 30 minute walk after work. Breeder Expectations
Our poodles are not to bred to another poodle or cross bred (intentionally or accidentally). There will be a significant monetary fine for each incident this happens and could result in us taking the puppy/dog back. Are you prepared to accept this contract? (Please note: we do not support in the cross breeding of poodles to produce doodles)
We sell our puppies on mandatory non-breeding contracts which means they are not to be bred. Are you willing to accept this contract?
We require this puppy be spayed or neutered at (not before) 18 months of age unless otherwise discussed with the breeder. Do you understand this requirement? If not please explain why.
Have you explored pet insurance?
Are you willing to feed diets and/or supplements as recommended by the breeder?
Are you willing to keep in touch with the breeder and send updates/photos as required?
If you are ever unable to keep your dog are you willing to contact us immediately and return the dog to us?
How are you planning to pick up your puppy from us? We expect to meet you face to face, unless there are extenuating circumstances that would prevent this from happening.

Filling out this form does not guarentee you a puppy or a place on our waiting list. Rather, this is the first step in the approval process in determining if a Kandansk poodle is the right fit for your family.

Once the questionnaire is reviewed and we are satisfied with what we've read, the second step is to set up a time to connect and have a conversation either over the phone or in person, if distance and home schedules allow for it.

Please note: The second step may take a while, due to busy personal lives and home committments.

Once accepted, you are NOT required to put a deposit down to be on the waiting list. You will be updated with litter announcements and confirmed pregnancies. Once the litter is born and we KNOW there is a puppy for you in the litter, only then will you be expected to provide your NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500. If you do not provide the deposit at that time, no puppy in the litter will be held for you.
