Summer Journey

Free Summer Learning! The Independence Mission Schools are continuing their partnership with Catapult Learning to provide a free program for K-8 students. The Summer Journey offers a comprehensive program with on-site and virtual options that encourages growth for all students while also reducing learning loss.

Program Details:

DATES: July 6- August 5, Monday-Thursday (Tuesday-Thursday the week of July 6)

WHO:K-8 students attending an IMS school, students must be Philadelphia residents.

TIME: Parents have the option to choose one of the following sessions!
- In-Person Morning Session: 8:00-11:15 AM (in-person only offered in the AM)
- Virtual Morning Session: 8:00-11:15 AM
- Afternoon Virtual Session: 12:15 - 3:30 PM
DEADLINE TO ENROLL: Registration will be open until April 30th or until we reach capacity.

COST: Free

SUMMER JOURNEY AT-HOME KITS: Students will receive a kit containing learning materials needed for the program.

REGISTRATION: First come, first served
